As young women, we try our very hardest to look like we have everything together, but in reality we don’t and thats okay. I’m here to have open an honest conversations about it. I’m sharing my expirence.
As we approach the new year, I'm adopting a thoughtful planning process inspired by principles from books like the "12-Week Year" and "Atomic Habits." This involves setting ambitious goals aligned with my life's vision and breaking them down into tangible milestones. Before setting goals, I recommend reflecting on thriving elements, aspirations, and desired feelings a year from today. The planning involves moving goals into quarters, prioritizing 1-3 key objectives per quarter, and staying flexible.
This November newsletter emphasizes the importance of finding peace in routine and taking things one step at a time. Give yourself grace and be realistic about your current lifestyle. PS: I’m adding a podcast for Of Love and Light!
This month, I paused to revisit my overarching goals. By using the 12-week year concept, I am able to find 3 areas of focus.
Summer is here. I always find the season so freeing. I plan to ease in to the season with slow weekends and intentional rest. What are your summer plans?
At 25, I’m still left thinking, who am I? How do I want to show up daily? I am slowly figuring out how I want to show up in the world. I want to reflect love and light in all aspects of my life. Every day I want to be my best self.
January 1st always feels like a fresh start, the turn of the page to a new chapter. So much can happen in one year. I encourage you to reflect on the accomplishments, challenges, and events in 2022. When planning for the new year, consider vision first.
In January of 2020, I created Of Love and Light, a blog open for anyone to read. I know what I’m going through relating to my professional, personal, and romantic life are not unique. I also know there’s someone else who has experienced or is currently experiencing the same struggle or victory. I thought it would be important to share my journey to who I am becoming.
